The 16 december, a dozen WeChat screenshots leaked on the Chinese internet, revealing an affair between two Chengdu city executives. Despite the private nature, and devoid of public interest, of this love affair, the Party authority initiated an inspection procedure usually leading to expulsion from office and from the CCP (double open). Back to this case, and on the importance of “morality” within the Chinese government.
